Yuriria, Gto. February 3, 2017.- The major degree in Business Management taught in the venue Yuriria of the University of Guanajuato (UG), obtained the Level I accreditation of the Census of Higher Education Programs renowned for their good quality, for the Interinstitutional Committees for the Evaluation of Higher Education A.C. (CIEES).

The Business Management program is taught in the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, placed at Yacatitas of the city of Yuriria, and it is one of the most requested degrees in this university venue.

The evaluation of the program of the major in Business Management, integrated with the auto-evaluation developed in the institution, the visit done by the Commission of External Academic Peers, as well as the analysis of the Executive Vocal, and the argument and dictum of the Interinstitutional Committee.

The report issued by CIEES' general coordinator, M. Rafael Vidal Uribe, remarks the main strengths that must be kept in a quality assurance exercise, as well as the aspects that must be worked to improve the evaluated program.

One of the strengths that stand out is the design of the study plan, which is one of the features imprinted in the graduate profile, offering added value to the locality and the region, besides academic and physical infrastructure with which the program eases the teaching process.

This program is relatively young, since the first generation graduated in 2012. Business Management was created to encourage the entrepreneur culture in the south region of the state, preparing the youth to dare, create and start, every time the University has clear what must be developed in the students, but also prepare them for directive tasks and leadership in businesses, so they can adequately connect to reality.

The recognition obtained is valid until November 2021.
