realiza-cnms-concurso-de-cortometraje-ug-ugtoGuanajuato, Gto., February 15, 2017.- With the participation of high school students of the University of Guanajuato (UG), there was a short film contest "UG-ANUIES in Short".

The young students participated in the production and projection of their videos, which were presented at the Euquerio Guerrero's Auditorium, where the judges evaluated and declared the short that will represent UG in the regional stage of the National Association of Universities and Institutions of Higher Educations (ANUIES) Center-West.

Dr. Jesús Raúl Lugo Martínez, Academic Secretary of the High School College (CNMS) representing Dr. J Merced Rizo Carmona, CNMS' Director, thanked the qualifying judges for the support to declare the short that will represent UG in ANUIES on May at Guadalajara, Jal (MX), also, he congratulated the young for their brilliant participation.

As judges in the projection of the shorts were Dr. Ricardo García Muñoz, General Coordinator of the System of Radio, Television and Hypermedia (SIRTH); Lic. Montserrat Alejandri Oyanguren, Coordinator of UG's Movie Club and M. David Cristian Cantero López, SIRTH's Chief of Television.

In his message, Dr. García Muñoz congratulated the young for participating and invited them to continue in that area, which is an art form through this mean of communication such as the cinema, something fundamental in their academic development as high school students, besides he mentioned that the projects developed at UG are being implemented and invited them to join the activities.

The winner short film was made by the students of HS Pénjamo with the title "Control Mental", represented by: Fátima Lizbeth Ortiz López, Esteban Cortés Solis, Natalia Ibirubitzu Ramos Cornejo, Daniela Zuleyma Rodríguez-Rodríguez, Daniela Alcocer Cosino & Mario Oleg García González, as an advisor.

The second place was for HS Moroleón with the topic "Cuando te conozca" represented by the students Alessandro Oswaldo Gaspar Villicaña, Lizeth Pantoja Rodríguez, Maria Fernanda Zamudio León y Daniel Michael Lugo Meléndez, as an advisor.

The third place was for HS Irapuato with the topic "Anomalia" made by the students Julia Teresita Arévalo Ibarra, Juan Pablo Zavala Vargas, Vanessa Salazar Sánchez and advisor Alejandro Palizada Sánchez.
