Guanajuato, Gto., February 24, 2017.- The analysis and proposals for the formation of public policies towards not only the economic development but other important indicators such as health, worthy works, education, environment and a culture of peace, will be the topics of the interdisciplinary seminar "All aboard", hosted by the Department of Education of Campus Guanajuato.
In an interview on the matter, Dr. Abel Hernández Ulloa, researcher of the University of Guanajuato (UG), informed that the seminar begins Tuesday 28th this month under the topic "The interdisciplinary cooperation in the model of inclusive growth to fight inequality in the expansion".
He explained that in coordination with the Organization for the Cooperation and Economic Developments (OCDE), the document "Todo mundo abordo. Lograr el crecimiento incluyente" was translated, which is already online, by an agreement with the international organism and has the comments of UG's General Rector, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino.
"From the academic space, with today's work, we exhort the critical reflection between the college students, with the purpose to propitiate the interdisciplinary discussion and the instauration of a solid perspective of human development that work as detonators of an inclusive growth", mentions in part of his comments, UG's General Rector.
Dr. Hernández Ulloa highlighted that this work must do with a proposal of inclusive development whose main objective is to provide criteria for the formation of public policies to be not only towards the economic development but try to seek other indicators which are important for the population.
Like so, the OCDE's proposal, as an international organism that makes comparative evaluations to more than 300 countries, is to suggest and make a pondered analysis of what is successful, where and why; to sum up, propose modifications of the public policies from the academy.
The document is already online, he reiterated, but the main focus of the seminar will focus on the contribution generated between professors from different divisions of Campus Guanajuato, with focus on economy, politics, philosophy, education, make a critical text lecture and try to propose something more solid for Guanajuato and Mexico.
At the same time, they promote a lecture of the constructive program of Gandhi, which was the ideal of what he considered as the program of the government from peace.
The seminar is aimed mainly for postgraduate researchers and students, but is open for the public with emphasis in the idea "All aboard", because the vision is that it needs to consider how is it growing everywhere and stop having a close view to really think in topics of social justice and reproduce the best practices.
