Guanajuato, Gto., March 2, 2017.- Academic bodies and professors from five Divisions of Campus Guanajuato, participate in the Seminar "All aboard. Towards a culture of peace and inclusive growth", which was summoned by Dr. Abel Hernández Ulloa, professor at the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities, with the main idea to reflect on the proposal to build paths towards a more inclusive growth.

While inaugurating the seminar's works, Dr. Teresita de Jesús Rendón Huerta Barrera, Rector of Campus Guanajuato, celebrated the proposed multidisciplinary exercise, which is not easy to achieve, she acknowledged, facing the intense work of the academic bodies.

In that sense, the convergence that the professors of architecture, engineering, philosophy, history, economy, among others will achieve was congratulated. Thanks to these encounters, if they may be disciplinary frontiers they are fundamental because it generates knowledge, also, these encounters have a great potential to form knowledge networks.

Dr. Rendón also approved that the chosen topic for this seminar is inclusion, since talking about inclusive growth is talking about the development of towns and the happiness of the human being, because it is not only about the economic growth, but the quality the citizen requires, in a human sense of that growth.

On his part, Dr. Abel Rubén Hernández Ulloa thanked the response to the summon for the interdisciplinary summon to reflect on the proposal of building paths for a more inclusive growth, if the action strategies that build a new autonomy and collaboration culture, encourage respect and promote peace.

In this uncertain times, he said, is necessary to generate spaces for the democratic discussion of ideas and plan a new culture of exchange of reciprocal knowledge that can set the bases for a new global citizenship.

So, the proposition is to reflect with Gandhi's thinking and with the work of the Organization for the Cooperation and Economic Development (OCDE) and generate academic products to continue working in that sense.

"We seek the dialogue between peers with different focuses but share both the academic space as the regional, national and in discussing the international context", emphasized Dr. Hernández, who reminded that the Academic Bodies that will participate in the seminar are from the divisions of Law, Politics and Government (DDPG); Economic-Administrative Sciences (DCEA); Natural and Exact (DCNE), Engineering (DI) and Social Sciences and Humanities (DCSH).

At the beginning participated, Dr. César Federico Macías Cervantes; Director of the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities; Dr. Claudia Gómez López, Director of the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences; Dr. Eduardo Pérez Alonso, Director of the Division of Law, Politics and Government, as well as professors from several departments of Campus Guanajuato.
