
Guanajuato, Gto., March 6, 2017.- At the beginning of the Diploma "Focuses and perspectives of the critical and social thinking in the dawn of XXI", Dr. Claudia Gutiérrez Padilla, Academic Secretary of Campus Guanajuato, celebrated the link of the Maximum House of Studies in the state with the social needs.
This diploma is offered from now until April 27th, to more than 40 students from eight cities in the entity, at the facilities of the Division of Law, Politics and Government (DDPG).
Representing Dr. Teresita de Jesús Rendón Huerta Barrera, Rector of Campus Guanajuato, Dr. Padilla reiterated that the University of Guanajuato (UG) offers the community excellence and quality in their educational programs and particularly at DDPG stands out not only in the local level, but nationally and internationally thanks to the academic offer which responds to real needs.
"Being a socially inclusive university and where we accept the plurality of ideologies, the diploma emerges to answer the need of political party's crisis mainly from the left in Mexico.
On his part Lic. Baltazar Zamudio Cortés, President of the Executive State Committee of the PRD thanked the willingness and openness of UG to open their facilities for discussion and reflection of all ideas and emphasized that it is necessary to return to the academy and remake the link that must be indissoluble between politics and preparation, to serve and try to improve the social conditions.
The first module of the diploma was, "La caída del muro de Berlín y sus repercusiones en el pensamiento social en el mundo" given by Dr. Daniel Añorve, scholar at UG. This course has nine modules and will finish on late April.
The following modules to develop will be: "Orígenes del pensamiento crítico y social en los siglos XIX y XX", by Dr. Anselmo Flores Andrade, of the Colegio de México (Colmex); "Reconceptualización del pensamiento crítico y social en la actualidad", by Dr. Iván Álvarez of the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ).
Likewise, "Hacia una nueva izquierda latinoamericana: clasificaciones y evaluaciones", by Dr. Francisco Lizcano Fernández, of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEM); "La historia de la izquierda en México" by Dr. Fernando Díaz Pérez; Ernesto Soto Reyes, of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and Dr. Gabino Solano, of the Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero (UAG).
"Análisis crítico desde el concepto de gubernamentalidad, biopolítica y biopoder de las nuevas técnicas de poder y modelos neoliberales de gestión pública" by Dr. José de Jesús Ramírez, of UG; "La izquierda anti-sistema en México y América Latina", by Dr. Aldo Muñoz Armenta, de la UAEM; "Proceso electoral y evolución normativa de la izquierda en México" by Dr. Guillermo Rafael Gómez Romo del Villar of UG & "Evaluación y retos del pensamiento crítico social en México", by Dra. Ma. Aidé Hernández.
