Tierra Blanca, Gto., March 7, 2017.- To divulge the scientific doing and strengthen the academic activities of the students, the Interdisciplinary Northeastern Center of the University of Guanajuato (CINUG) invites to the 2nd Journey of Induction to Science and Technology, which will be developed on March 15 and 16.
In addition of CINUG students, the invitation is open for high school students from seven cities in the region, from public and private institutions, so they attend the conferences and demonstrations related with engineering.
This the second time the event is organized, and will have the participation of 20 professors of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca who are interested in taking their research to the northeast.
During the two days of the journey, there will be a presentation of bio inspired robots, so the students get excited for mechanical, electronic and computing studies.
The activities will begin with the talk by Dr. Roberto Rojas Laguna "Aplicaciones de las fibras ópticas"; Dra. María Elena Sosa Morales with the conference "Cómo leer el etiquetado de alimentos" and Dr. Vicente Pérez García will talk about "Alternativas para mitigar el cambio climático con el uso de refrigerantes".
Dr. Raúl Enrique Yáñez will join with the talk "Ingeniería con visión personal y computacional", Dr. Rafael Guzmán Mendoza with "La influencia de la biodiversidad en la agronomía" and Dr. Victor Ayala Ramírez will present "Tendencias actuales de la robótica móvil".
Dr. Rubén Elias Damián will show the las "Aportaciones de la UG al desarrollo de la fruticultura estatal", Dr. Juan Manuel Sierra will talk about the "uso de fuentes de luz para detección de contaminantes" and Dr. Juan Rosales García about "las fronteras de la física y sus aplicaciones".
Dr. Alfredo Márquez Herrera will share his knowledge on "celdas solares", Dr. Daniel Jáuregui Vázquez will talk about "las fibras ópticas como elemento sensor"; M. Ruth Artemisa Aguilera with the conference "percepción remota" and Dr. César Gutiérrez Vara will present his "prototipos agroindustriales".
They expect 500 students from different areas and the activities will conclude with a traditional "Callejoneada" with the estudiantine of Engineering.
