Guanajuato, Gto., March 14, 2017.- Thomas Sánchez Lengeling, graduate of the University of Guanajuato (UG), work in a project based on the human perception of color, which is developed in collaboration with Frank Wilczek, Physics Nobel Prize winner.

Currently, Thomas Sánchez is about to finish his postgraduate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the best university in the world according the QS World University Rankings 2016-2017, where he works with a group of researchers in the project called "Opera of the future", which explores the human perception in many senses, involving the use of color, music and several sounds.

One of the areas of his project he works with Frank Wilczek, who obtained the Nobel Prize for his research in quantum physics –one of the basic elements of future computing—.

Both research the human perception of color, and develop several technologies around this concept. Part of the project has been worked in the "Science Clubs in Mexico", even last year, one of the courses Wilczek helped to design, was taught at the UG.

For Thomas Sánchez Lengeling this project also links with health, since there are several benefits for people with a disability, --hearing or visual—since he assures that all people explore the world differently and those who can't listen or see will be able to interact with this work by making accessible for the public.

Sánchez Lengeling gave the first talk as part of the activities of the Program of Graduates with Identity "Por Siempre UG" (Forever UG). From Cambridge, via skype, he talked with UG students about their projects and achievements as a student and a graduate from the major in Computing Systems Engineering of the Division of Engineering of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca of UG.

The program "Por Siempre UG" seeks to reaffirm the sense of belonging of who were part of the Maximum House of Studies through actions and activities aligned to an institutional vision; encourage teaching, research and extension, through the direction of the graduate program with identity, led by M. Antonio González Arroyo.
