Guanajuato, Gto., March 16. 2017.- The Symphonic Orchestra of the University of Guanajuato (OSUG), will hold an audition for new musicians to enter the orchestra. This time, the audition will be for row viola, next March 21st.

The University of Guanajuato (UG) summons all the professional musicians who are interested on being part of OSUG to participate in the audition for an annual period, with possibility to extend the contract.

Whomever is interested (national or foreign, no exceptions) must send via email their personal information as an inscription form (full name, birth date, address, phone(s) and nationality), a copy of their passport or Official ID, detailed CV with studies and professional experience to the following email: Esta dirección de correo electrónico está protegida contra spambots. It will be a closed audition at 13:30hrs in the General Auditorium of the University of Guanajuato. It is strictly prohibited to use communication devices.

The participating musicians must attend alone to the audition and the Honorable Jury of Enrollment and Permanence formed by five qualifying judges will select the applicant.

OSUG is in a privileged place in the musical panorama of Mexico as one of the most prestige orchestra ensembles in the country and with a sound international projection.

Besides offering more than 30 annual programs in their seasons, OSUG is the resident orchestra of the Festival Internacional Cervantino where it has participated with projects of great artistic transcendence. Thanks to large repertoire, dynamism and personality, OSUG has been invited to many national festivals and has made multiple international tours.
