Guanajuato, Gto., March 21, 2017.- With objective to edit an exclusive collection of texts for the University of Guanajuato (UG), there was an agreement signing between the educational institution and the Editorial Grañén Porrúa.

One of the main purposes of this agreement is to establish the bases of the collaboration between UG and the Editorial to create an exclusive collection, which will be formed only by selected texts by UG, same that come from their teachers or students.

On the matter, UG's General Rector, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, highlighted that books are a vehicle to access knowledge. Carrying out this action has a great meaning because it implies the link with a cultural and intellectual family of Mexico, "at UG there is a great potential in the four campus and in the high school subsystem, thanks to their students and professors", he expressed.

Likewise, he mentioned that the commitment of UG by signing the agreement is to publish more, but with the highest quality.

The Editorial manager, M. Manuel Grañén Porrúa, mentioned that they'll give their best effort so the collaboration produces results.

He thanked for being able to work with UG, to which he defined as an institution of prestige with students and teachers of excellence. In addition, thanks to the agreement with UG, the production costs lower and so do the selling prices, so more people will have more access to the same. Thanks to the distribution that the editorial will make, the publications will be acquirable in large part of the Mexican Republic.

"Colección Universidad de Guanajuato" will be the name of the book production to be created by both institutions, the agreement lasts two years. Some of the agreements pact with the signing were: for the editorial to make the first printed edition of the plays, creating the subsequent editions, if the conditions are the same as in other editorials.

Likewise, it was indicated that the University of Guanajuato will be the responsible to obtain the necessary authorizations of the authors to publish the corresponding work. With the editorial's approval, the University will partially use the works with academic and research purposes; so, they authorize for such works to be divulged in electronic portals and free access magazines.
