León, Gto., April 3, 2017.- After an exhaustive evaluation, researchers of the University of Guanajuato (UG), led by Dr. Ma. Teresa Pratz Andrade, Dr. Aurora Montañez Frausto, M. Elvira Moreno Pulido, scholars from the Department of Nursing and Midwifery venue Guanajuato, also, Sandra Lizeth Pérez Villegas, student of the seventh semester of the major degree in Nursing, were induced to the Honor Society in Nursing Chapter Tau Alpha of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI), which is the world's most important scientific organization in Nursing.

Both professionals and major and postgraduate students can be members of this society, they only should prove academic achievements, commitment with the profession and leadership in Nursing.

The three researchers and the student seek to strengthen their professional formation, work in collaboration with professionals from other countries, share experiences with internationally renowned researchers.

Being members of the society, allows them to attend the annual congress which will be held in June this year in Ireland, where they'll present research and conferences, besides knowing the most representative progress in the area.

In an interview, Dr. Pratz mentioned the importance of being part of this society and the opportunity to develop projects with both students and national and international researchers.

STTI's entry committee recognized the four new members of the society past March in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
