
León, Guanajuato; May 4, 2017.- Within the National Book Fair (FENAL) for its acronym in Spanish, there was an editorial presentation of "Actores Sociales" which was overseen by Dr. Ivy Jacaranda Jasso Martínez, Dr. Vanessa Freitag, Dr. Jessica Vega and Dr. Rubén Ramírez Arellano, professors-researchers of the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities of Campus León of the University of Guanajuato (UG).
The objective was to widen the reflection on the contexts that the agents currently live, the book is part of a collection titles Seminar, Change and Emerging dynamics in Latin America.
In an interview, Dr. Ivy Jasso Martínez commented: "For this text, we proposed to think and discuss which are the experiences in voice of the direct actors. The book is for the public, you don't need to be a specialist in the area to understand it, it is written in an accessible language, since it seeks to contribute that all the audience can have access to this kind of research."
The book has two main themes: the social agent actors of cultural diversity, the migrants, women and the agents of social diversity; it is divided in fourteen chapters, where it explains each topic in detail by the specialists.
Manuel Jaramillo, who witnessed the presentation of the book, shared that "the book influences in professional and personal life", since I have a humanist formation and, since it is focused on the new way the farmers are transforming the agricultural society, for me this is very important since I work on vegetable biotechnology."
