León, Guanajuato. May 5, 2017.- With the purpose to bring readers to the context of Social Sciences, academics from the University of Guanajuato (UG) who belong to the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities of Campus León, presented to the audience at the National Book Fair (FENAL) for its acronym in Spanish, 2017, the texts: "Ciudadanía y grupos vulnerables en México" and "Desarrollo desde lo local y dinámicas territoriales."

The first title belongs to a text that answers the preoccupation for the citizenship's state in vulnerable groups in Latin America, and particularly in México, and the relation with human rights.

The coordinators of the work were Dr. Juan Russo Foresto, Dr. Katya Rodríguez and Dr. Carmen Rosa Rea Campos, besides mentioning a participation of David Martínez, scholar of the Universidad Iberoamericana León.

The text argues on citizenship as a set of right and practical policies. At the same time, they analyze distinct social sectors: inhabitants of rural zones, indigenous migrants, elders, religious minority, among others.

The second book was coordinated by Dr. Juan Antonio Rodríguez González, Dr. Lorena del Carmen Álvarez-Castañon, Dr. Daniel Tagle Zamora and Dr. José Luis Coronado Ramírez, which refers to new proposals on technological innovation, sociology, economy, and geography, as well as the development of the current methods of economic growth.

On the other hand, they analyze the role of businessmen, schools and associations today. Finally, a topic of everyone's interest such as the environment and the right for water in the city of León. Together with every collaboration of the scholars from the University of Guanajuato, they answer from local to global.

Caterin Scarlet León Morales, an attendant to both presentations, mentioned in an interview, that both productions were interesting. She added that they handled topics with vision, and mentioned "what was more interesting for me was identifying what is development and what is economic growth, because they are two completely different things, also, the part of the environment that since the 80s wasn't considered and now one of the books here talks about it". She mentioned that both titles will serve as reference for the specialization works beyond Anthropology, which is the science she studies.

At the end of the presentations, they answered questions from the audience, which was composed by students of Social Sciences, researchers in the area and high school students.
