
León, Gto., May 18, 2017.- With the interest to encourage the exchange of dual training experiences in the higher level between businessmen and higher education institutions in the central region, the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities of Campus León of the University of Guanajuato (UG), there was an international conference "Technical and Superior dual training in Germany and Mexico. Different trajectories and shared objectives."
The inauguration was presided by Dr. Salvador Hernández Castro, Director of Liaison at UG, who represented Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, General Rector of the University of Guanajuato; Dr. Luxana Reynaga Ornelas, Academic Secretary of Campus Leon; Mónica Von Allwörden de Orozco, consul of Germany at the Bajio; M. Raúl Noriega Ponce, Sub-secretary of Higher Education of the State of Guanajuato and Eng. Aldelmo Reyes Pablo, Director of Economic Development of the city representing the major of León, Lic. Héctor López Santillana.
During his inaugural message, Dr. Salvador Hernández, assured that the University of Guanajuato is currently working so the student community can have 1-year residencies in the companies, in addition of having a strategic coordination for the flexibilization of the educational programs. Reason why he sustained that "UG is occupied and preoccupied in the dual training part."
Likewise, Dr. Alex Ricardo Caldera Ortega, Director of the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities of Campus Leon, gave a message in which he highlighted that for entity he leads is very important to have this kind of events; since Social Sciences can address this type of topics that contribute to the construction of an important research line, considering as a higher institution it is necessary to be the liaison between government and society.
He recognized the work of Dr. José Antonio Espinal Betanzos, professor-researcher of the Department of Public Management and Development of Campus Leon, who was responsible of the event, and the participation of the institutions such as Colegio de México, Humboldt Class, Goethe Institute and the consulate of Germany in the Bajio.
At the end of the opening ceremony there were three panels titled: "Labor market and dual model as an alternative", "The superior dual training in Germany and Mexico" and "School and workshop. Collaboration opportunities", the first conducted by Dr. Ludger Pries, who is head of the Humboldt Class and a scholar of the organization topics and worked in trans nationalization, migration and international comparison; the second panel was conducted by Dr. Espinal Betanzos and the last, by Dr. Gustavo Garabito Ballesteros, professor-researcher of the same Division.
There was also the participation as speakers of representatives of the Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (Coparmex), Instituto Tecnológico de Reynosa, Instituto Tecnológico de Hermosillo, Instituto Tecnológico de Celaya, Red Nacional de Materia Condensada Blanda, Instituto Estatal de Capacitación and the Institución Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, from Germany.
