Guanajuato, Gto., May 25, 2017.- Master and Doctorate students in Art of the University of Guanajuato (UG) invite to collaborate in Aureus Magazine, publication that contributes to the divulgation of the academic work, research projects and graphic proposals of postgraduate participants in the institution.
The magazine was created in 2016, an initiative of Yadira Cuéllar Miranda, who during the first numbers led the project with the purpose to be "from students to students" in the postgraduate of Arts. However, after three numbers, the proposal evolved, and now the invitation to participate is open for members of the university community who would like to contribute ideas in aesthetics, since they seek a multidisciplinary focus for the publication.
Aureus represents a forum where the postgraduate students of the Division of Architecture, Art and Design (DAAD), can project their academic work, although, they also receive contributions from graduates, researchers and national and international creators.
The quarterly publication is available in digital format and in the issuu platform. Currently, the invitation is open to participate in the fourth number, whose themed axis will be: "Objectification of art: its speeches."
Aureus current director, Coco Márquez, explained that in the magazine they give priority to academic works, but in the Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/aureusrevistaug/, also divulge information of interest for the students in Arts, from summons to expositions and events.
In addition of the texts, the student community can collaborate with graphic proposals (photographs, illustrations, painting, etcetera); related with plastic, visual, scenic arts, music and literature.
The deadline for the collaborations for the fourth number will be next May 31st. To know the guidelines and access Aureus contents, you can visit https://issuu.com/aureus3/docs/revista_aureus_3
