miembros-de-la-ug-exponen-trabajos-en-congreso-del-consejo-internacional-enfermeria-ugtoLeón, Gto., June 9, 2017.- With the purpose to present projects to promote positive impacts in health, two academics of the University of Guanajuato (UG) and a student from the Department of Nursing and Midwifery venue Guanajuato of Campus León, attended the Congress of the International Council of Nursing 2017, in Barcelona, Spain.

The first academic is Dr. María Aurora Montañez, who titled her project "Subjective norms for HIUV/AIDS and sexual behavior in the late teenage", where she remarked the importance the sexual transmitted diseases have, as well as the behaviors of the youth regarding their sexuality.

The second researcher is Dr. María Teresa Pratz Andrade, in collaboration with the student Sandra Lizeth Pérez Villegas of the major in Nursing and Midwifery; who presented their paper "Evaluation of knowledge on chronic diseases in urban, peri-urban, and rural communities", and so, contribute to the health attention based on evidence.

The professional practice, regulation and social-economic wellbeing; are the three pillars of the International Nursing Council, hence, in the congress organized by them, it favored the attendants to share knowledge from their respective specialization areas, as well as to identify the great cultural diversity that is generated in an event of this size.

This event only presented five projects from Mexico. In this way, Campus León proves its quality in its researchers with the participation of two different projects from our Maximum house of studies.
