el-cinug-fortalece-la-base-cientifica-en-la-enfermeriaTierra Blanca, Gto., June 20, 2017.- To improve the practice of Nursery, the Northwest Interdisciplinary Center of the University of Guanajuato (CINUG) encourages the scientific base among the students of the first generation of the degree in Nursery and Midwifery in the northeast part of the state.

In the first symposium of research protocol presentation, who are in the seventh term of the educational program, presented their projects towards identifying and proposing a better management of care to the population in the region.

Although nursery is a practical profession, the research in this discipline can contribute with knowledge about education, administration, sanitary services, characteristics of who is in the profession and infirmary roles, since through research protocols and guidelines they can develop better methods of attention.

Among other research presented to the tutors, stand out "Level of stress on ER nurses with a patient in shock"; "Experiences in the recovery home and rehabilitation for alcoholism and drug addiction problems in the city of Dr. Mora", "Perception of the life quality in children with Diabetes Mellitus Type I" and the "Relation between the level of self-care and the Burnout syndrome in the nurses at the Guanajuato's San Luis de la Paz General Hospital".

Other proposals from the student community were "Perception of sexuality after motherhood in young women", "Effect of an educational intervention in food habit s in preschool children", "Relationship between child malnourishment and family function", "Relation between emotional intelligence and family function in elders", "Perception of sex life in women with menopause" and "Perception of the fear of death in the adult in internal medicine service."

The protocols to research and propose better clinical practice or care management for the population in the northeast of the state, were evaluated by CINUG's Coordinator, Ing. Alfredo Mozqueda Córdova; by the Coordinator of the degree in Nursery and Midwifery, Perla Paola Acosta Varela and by the professors Cinthya Janira Ibarra Arellano and Claudia Gabriela Esquivel Franco.

This induces the student population to fundament and defend their research topic, propitiating care methods based on evidence.
