Guanajuato, Gto., September 11, 2017.- The University of Guanajuato (UG) issued a summon to cover 53 positions for full-time professors (PTC) in different areas of knowledge: Arts, Health Sciences, Economic Administrative Sciences, Natural and Exact Sciences, Engineering, and Social Sciences and Humanities.

The applications reception will end on September 25th, and whomever is interested must be ready to begin no longer than November 16 this year in the University of Guanajuato, where they'll perform functions of teaching, research, extension, negotiation and collegiate life.

The institution's Direction of Academic Affairs, through the Department of Support for Professors, informed that for the Division of Health Sciences of Campus Leon, there are three vacancies, and four for the Division of Sciences and Engineering.

Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, will hire ten full-time professors in the Division of Engineering, and four in the Division of Life Sciences.

Regarding Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, the Division of Health Sciences and Engineering has five vacancies, and four more for the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences.

At Campus Guanajuato, UG's largest campus, has three vacancies in the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities; three vacancies for the Division of Economic Administrative Sciences, three for the Division of Architecture, Art and Design, and three for the Division of Natural and Exact Sciences. For the Division of Law, Politics and Government, one professor will be hired, and ten will be hired for Engineering.

The summon was created by the committees of entrance and permanence, in collaboration with the Evaluating Commissions of the different campuses and divisions at UG. This will be divulged throughout the nation and abroad. The sought profile is an applicant with a Ph.D., however, some areas will hire someone with a Master's degree.

According the university regulations, the committees of entrance and permanence are responsible for analyzing the profiles of the applicants, interview and value who is the fittest to cover a vacancy.
