
Guanajuato, Gto., October 3, 2017.- At the University of Guanajuato (UG), there was a closing ceremony of the course "Curso-Competencia Intramuros 2017" and the oath from the members of the Oral Litigation team, generation 2017-2018, which will represent the university in the future competitions in a national and international level.
The course had the participation of 33 students from the different semesters of the degree in Law at UG, supported by 16 certified judges and 10 instructors, who allowed an effective work of learning and improvement in solving disjunctives of criminal sanctions.
The President of the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, assured that this event has institutional and social transcendence, since it makes evident the quality of the program and model of study of this institution, by making the student's comprehensive formation and their skill to solve real problems of society, visible.
He remarked that the students, in addition of raising the name of the university by winning national and international awards, they also become in creators and graduates who transform in important actors in the criminal area.
During the event, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino took the oath from the Oral Litigation team of UG who was chosen for their performance in the course. The team is composed by: Luis Enrique Cano Herrera, Laura Cristina Muñoz Dueñas, Miguel Orlando Espinoza Martínez, Nadia Janet Hernández Guerrero, Jorge Alfredo Ramírez Ibarra, Javier Alejandro Suárez Paredes, Arath Samuel Elí Vargas and Daniela Jacqueline Vázquez Ojeda.
The Director of the Division of Law, Politics and Government, Dr. Eduardo Pérez Alonso, congratulated the students for their collective and individual effort that strengthens their knowledge and skills in the subject, and recognized the work of the professor Juan Carlos Páramo for his contribution with an authentic altruism in forming and supporting students.
Likewise, the team's advisor, M. Juan Carlos Páramo Vázquez, said that the praiseworthy of the learning process is the commitment of the students, who not only have acquired tools to continue preparing to win competencies, but to learn to solve problems to win competencies, but to learn how to solve problems as professionals in the criminal area, as many graduates from this university have proven.
During the event, the Legal Advisor of the Rectory of Campus Guanajuato, Lic. Miguel Ángel Cervantes Flores, representing the Rector of Campus Guanajuato, Dr. Teresita de Jesús Rendón Huerta Barrera; and the Director of the Department of Law, Dr. Leandro Eduardo Astrain Bañuelos, were present.
