Yuriria, Gto. October 5, 2017.- At the venue Yuriria of the University of Guanajuato, new focuses on software development were met. During the II International Symposium of Software Development, where they compared the trends in academy and business.
For the second year in a row, the professors at the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies, Dr. María Susana Ávila García, Dr. Marco Bianchetti and Dr. Roberto Baeza Serrato, organized the event so the college students from the south part of the state could know what is the role of a software developer in research ambiences, which is one of the few known ambiences in the area.
Likewise, they addressed the software development for the automotive industry and in banking institutions, as well as aspects related with the fourth industrial revolution and the importance of the internet of things.
One day before the symposium, the students made 16 presentations of posters, which are related with projects made by the venue's professors. Also, they had the connection with a professor from the University of San Diego, Mark Siprut, who documents the emotional part of the user experience of the software, it means, analyzes the reactions of people before certain didactic tools, as a different aspect of what they have seen in traditional software development.
They also had the presence of professors from the Technological University of Querétaro and the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, and representatives of the private initiative, such as Clever Services and Servilamina Summit Mexicana.
The Rector of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca at UG, Dr. Armando Gallegos Muñoz, inaugurated the Symposium, and exhorted to seek the collaboration in future projects with different guests, so the students can become professionals who are capable to propose innovative solutions for the public, private or social sectors, as well as the development of applications of the information and software technology.
Software development is very important for several areas of engineering apart from digital electronics and data processing, acknowledged Dr. Eduardo Cabal Yépez, director of the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies. Dr. Victor Ayala Ramírez, Director of the Division of Engineering, considered that software if the operating system of society, which produces the current progress and is beyond simple programming.
