Celaya, Gto., October 10, 2017.- The project "Alimentos Balanceados de Comonfort" is aimed for the livestock sector and consists in elaborating formulas to fatten the livestock, mainly, without additives that could risk the health of the consumer from the byproducts such as milk, meat and eggs.

Days ago, the student Eduardo Calixto Amador, a student of the ninth semester of the degree in Civil Engineering of the University of Guanajuato, Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, submitted his project for a review and scrutiny in the Start Up Celaya event organized by the Department of Economic Development in the State, which received an award from the jury.

In an interview, Eduardo talks about how the idea to work in this project emerged: "Currently, besides studying, I distribute forage for livestock and have watched that the farmer needs to have a good formula that guarantees that the livestock will grow healthy, give quality byproducts and will allow to commercialize the products without risking the health of the final consumer."

"Our formulas don't use anabolic nor harmful agents, they are elaborated based on agricultural byproducts and minerals", assures Eduardo, who at the same time talked about his experience to expose his idea before a jury who supported the viability of the project.

Addressing the invitation made by the Department of Economic Development, UG sent 24 projects to be evaluated by a group of businessmen who created the "Tanque de Pirañas", in an event that gathered more than 300 people, between college students, businessmen and entrepreneurs, he said.

The young entrepreneur shows his concern for the formulas to be used correctly: "to use anabolic in the animals' diets has a repercussion in the human being, affecting their cardiovascular systems and can even cause death", that is why it is so important to give the farmer, healthy and financially sustainable options, he remarked.

He said that being in the Start Up was a great experience, being before contestants from 22 universities, project incubators and microbusiness men, who reviewed the project the methodological and financial support of the project, giving support and advice for the idea to become real, which he expects to fulfill in a not so far future.
