Guanajuato, Gto., October 17, 2017.- The violence, injustice, forced abductions, rapes, abandonment, the rage for the damage done, exalted emotions that were experienced in the second function of "La Rabia", a play portrayed by the students of the degree in Scenic Arts of the Division of Architecture, Art and Design (DAAD) of Campus Guanajuato of UG, within the 45th Festival Internacional Cervantino (FIC).
The play premiered on March 8 this year, the purpose, to commemorate the International Day of the Women, and due to its quality, it was chosen to participate within the college program in the FIC; and both presentations were very successful.
The play is from the M. David Eudave, professor of the degree in Scenic Arts at DAAD, and is played by the students Lucy Thomson, Araceli Velázquez Estrada, Perla Mariana Domínguez, Elena Spindel, Job Díaz, Sergio Rojas and Mauricio Romo.
The author, M. Eudave, mentioned that the play denounces the violence amongst the human beings, the abductions, the migration, rapes and murders.
The topic is hard as it is, however, it was well displayed by the young artists who have acquired quite an experience in the past months, in a minimalist scenario that leaves to acting, the work to touch the soul.
At the presentation attended: Dr. Teresita de Jesús Rendón Huerta Barrera, Rector of Campus Guanajuato; the Academic Secretary, Dr. Claudia Gutiérrez Padilla; Dr. Salvador Salas Zamudio, Campus advisor and Dr. Francisco Javier González Compeán, DAAD's Director; professors, department directors and public.
