Celaya, Gto., October 20, 2017.- The evaluations made by the accrediting organisms to academic programs, clearly tell us how are we, where are we heading and what we need to do as professors, administrators and students, to reach the quality accreditation of all programs.

The latter is part of the message from Dr. Benito Rodríguez Haros, Director of the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences, at the beginning of the first follow up visit post-accreditation of the Financial Administration degree, at Campus Celaya-Salvatierra.

M. Reyna Lucia Campos Lee and M. César Luque Guerrero, members of the Evaluating Peers Committee of the Council of Accreditation for Teaching in Accounting and Administration (CACECA), followed up the observations obtained in the accreditation process in 2016.

It is important to mention that CACECA is the organism who oversees the accreditation of the academic programs in accounting and administration of the higher education institutions. Through a series of mechanisms and forms, proves that it covers determined academic quality standards to teach superior studies in these disciplines.

Having programs certified by CACECA, means that the programs have certain quality standards to be taught as professional formation studies, mentioned M. Juan Ledesma Martínez, overseer of the evaluation and accreditation of the educational programs at the University of Guanajuato (UG), "We are on the train of the culture of evaluation and accreditation, for some years now", added the analogy that at the time was made by César Luque who said; "we can't step down of the quality ship, that would mean retreat and decay for the University."

As part of the certification as a quality program, the evaluation methodology includes the review of indicators such as: quality of the professors, formation of the student, design of the curricular map of the educational program, strategies and activities of comprehensive formation for the student, financial resources and materials, research actions and society liaison with society.

This time, the fulfillment of the improvement plan established for the degree in Financial Management of the Campus Celaya-Salvatierra of the University of Guanajuato was reviewed.
