Guanajuato, Gto., October 30, 2017.- From time to time, language isn't enough to talk about reality, mentions José Antonio Banda Rangel, who explores this idea in his book "Rio Interior", in which, through poetry, explores the complexity of "I", the world and the language.
A student of the doctorate in Art of the University of Guanajuato (UG), and professor at the Irapuato HS, José Antonio Banda is author of two books: "Teoría de la Desolación" and "Río Interior."
José, an engineer in computing systems and Master in literature, mentioned that his intention with "Río Interior" was write about what is behind the construction of a poem. So, in the first section of his book, there's a narrative of the construction of "I", "it is composed by postcards from the youth, the trips and the reading I've done and a family issue."
Then, the author begins to drift away from personal circumstances and begins to question the language and the reality, "I address the complexity of writing about the reality because the language is sometimes insufficient". In the third section, that becomes exasperating, in there, there is an "I" who talks in a pelting way, describes Banda Rangel.
He studied an engineering in computing systems, followed by a Master degree in literature. The scholar and poet remembered his childhood reading everything at his reach, from anthologies to poems to the encyclopedia, because "the vocative and invocative power of the poetry, the rhythm of the words has always fascinated me."
José Antonio Banda won the national award of poetry "Bartolomé Delgado de León" and today, he teaches informatics and literary text at Irapuato HS.
