Guanajuato, Gto., November 28, 2017.- Academic authorities of the University of Guanajuato (UG) and the Université du Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC), gathered to generate liaison actions between the educational institutions.

During the work session, they showed proposals of interinstitutional academic collaborations, in which the exchange of students, professors and administrators stand out, to make cultural, social and academic approach activities.

Likewise, they proposed to develop double degree programs, which allows the students to have access to two university titles or postgraduate degrees from UG and UPEC.

The liaison between these educational institutions occurred for the active work of the Direction of International Relationships and Academic Collaboration, a UG's instance that promotes internationalization between the members of the university community, in addition of being the institutional link to make academic activities with organisms of cooperation and higher education national and international institutions.

It is important to mention that, UPEC has been present in all knowledge areas since 1971, and trains more than thirty-thousand students each year in more than three-hundred disciplines, from major degree to doctorate degree.

UPEC's delegation was composed by: Eric Athenot, Vice President of International Relationships; Maëlle Flot, Director of International Relationships; Laurent Thévenet, Councilor of the Vice President of International Relationships; Jacques Moscovici, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences; Maxence Boutet, responsible of International Relationships of the Faculty of Sciences.

They also had the participation of Jean-David Avenel, Dean of the Faculty of Administration and International Exchanges (AEI); Sophie Fereol, Responsible of International Relationships of the School of Engineers; Sandrine Cadenat, Professor, University Institute of Technology of Créteil-Vitry and Dr. Armando Valdés Zamora, professor of the Faculty of Commercial Exchanges.

Among UG's authorities was Dr. Claudia Susana Gómez López, Director of the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences; Dr. Agustín Ramón Uribe Ramírez, Director of the Division of Natural and Exact Sciences of Campus Guanajuato; as well as Dr. Sergio Antonio Silva Muñoz, Director of International Relationships and Academic Collaboration.
