
Celaya, Gto., November 28, 2017.- M. María del Rosario Tolentino Ferrel, Director of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, and Dr. María de Jesús Jiménez González, Coordinator of Curricular Redesign of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, visited the Universidad de Concepción in Chile, with the purpose to tight collaboration bonds that favor academic stays of professors and students, as well as the generation of common research projects.
In an interview after their trip, M. Tolentino Ferrel mentioned that briefly, they'll receive at Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, professors from the Chilean institution, who will teach a course on Human Caring in the Attention to the Sick, which will emphasize in giving the same academic weigh to the transmission of scientific contents and those that have to do with human quality.
The professors of the University of Guanajuato also attended to the Global Human Caring Congress Latin America, which was held in Santiago de Chile, organized by the Watson Caring Science Institute, called "Norte y Sur se unen en un cuidado más humano."
From this congress, they established the commitment to carry out in the University of Guanajuato, a course that condenses all the proposes related with the quality un human caring in the attention of patients.
From this visit on, they will study the mechanisms to establish a specific collaboration agreement on the subject between the Universidad de Concepción and the University of Guanajuato, Campus Celaya-Salvatierra.
