Guanajuato, Gto., 12 de diciembre de 2017.- As part of the activities of international cooperation promoted by the Direction of International Relationships and Academic Collaboration, three professors of the University of Guanajuato (UG) participated in the International Global Week of Chitkara University in India.

Each one of the UG professors carried on the course in 20 hours, and was aimed for degree and master students of the mentioned institution.

The UG courses taught in India were: Texture Analysis in Computer Vision by Dr. Rocío A. Lizárraga Morales; Global Advances in Art and Design Education, taught by Dr. Tirtha Prasad, both professors at the Division of Engineering of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca.

Also, Dr. Eva Conraud, a professor at the Division of Economical-Administrative Sciences of Campus Guanajuato, gave the course "Sustainable Marketing."

It is worthy to mention that, for the last five years, Chitkara University has organized the International Global Week for its students, to which they invite eminent academy members from around the world to teach predetermined short module courses.

To travel to India and give the courses, the applicants had to muster, among others, the following requirements: Preferable Ph.D. qualification or a teaching experience of at least 9 years; academic leadership; renowned authority with experience; sound basic competencies in the chosen subject; experience teaching in multicultural classrooms with international students; international trips with adequate case studies, and an excellent domain of English.

With these actions, UG affirms once more, the relevance of its educational project, both in the national and international ambience.
