Guanajuato, Gto., January 10, 2017.- Dasaev Muñoz González, a student of the University of Guanajuato (UG) was one of the 32 students in the country who were selected to participate in the International conference "Alianzas por la Educación Superior para el Desarrollo Sostenible" of the National Association of Higher Education Institutions (ANUIES).
The student of the degree in Industrial Relationships was chosen among 300 participants in the Leaders Summon, issued by ANUIES with the Foundation "Educación Superior-Empresa" (FESE) with the purpose to encourage the participation of the young students in the International Conference held at Guadalajara.
The applicants sent a vide in which they answered three questions: Why would you like to assist and what would the International Conference ANUIES 2017 "Alianzas por la Educación Superior para el Desarrollo Sostenible" (ODS) established by UN, contribute to your professional career? What sustainable development objectices established by UN would you encourage from your profession?, and how would you promote the FESE programs that strengthen the professional and personal competencies to benefit your peers?
Being selected gave them the opportunity to attend the Student Forum ANUIES "Contribución de los jóvenes al logro de la agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible", in which, through dialogue, debate and proposals, they generated ideas that seek to cause changes in the country in topics related to education, eradication of poverty, diffusion of culture, use of renewable energies, and sustainable development proposals.
So, they participated in different activities during the International Conference. As an additional stimulus, FESE gave them a grant that covered all the transport, food and lodge expenses.
