Guanajuato, Gto., January 15, 2018.- The writer and researcher, Dr. Luis Felipe El Sahili, a professor at HS León, received the National Award Psychology 2017 in the category of "Scientific Research", endorsed by the Mexican Federation of Psychology A.C.

His contributions to current research and the impact in the field of constructing a new Psychology, more agile and up to date, were determinant to obtain this recognition.

Dr. El Sahili is author of more than twenty-five books, has participation in congresses in Mexico, Central and South America, besides being a candidate for the Mexican Award Psychology 2013, in the modality of Teaching Psychology, by the National Federation of Schools, Societies and Associations of Psychologists of Mexico, A.C. (Fenapsime).

To give this award there was an evaluating jury, led by the outstanding methodologist Dr. Roberto Hernández Sampieri, as well as the Delegate for the North zone of UNESCO, Dr. Anselmo Torres Arizmendi, and Dr. Juan Fernando González Porras, Rector of the Hartmann University.

The President of the national federation, Dr. Francisco Rosas handed the award, which includes an economic remuneration, support for new publications, a scroll with legends and signatures, a silver medal with a commemorative inscription.

On the matter, Dr. El Sahili commented that this award "makes me commit even more to the whole and enthusiast development in my classes, it also encourages me to continue working on the construction of a stronger and understandable psychology for all the students who take my class and colleagues who read my writings and it is the result of my work and effort of everyone and each one of students and peers, because thanks to the scientific community and the effort from each of the members, I can have an echo and be in a position to fight for a more open and comprehensive society on the function of the psychologist."

Dr. J. Merced Rizo Carmona, Director of the High School College, congratulated the professors for having obtained this important national distinction, which is the result of the work of years and contributes to set high the name of the University of Guanajuato.
