Irapuato, Gto., January 16. 2018.- Professors of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery of the University of Guanajuato (UG) received their certification from the Mexican Federation of Nursing Schools A.C., by completing the continuous update and excel in the quality standards in teaching.
The professors Claudia Marcela Cantú Sánchez and María Eugenia Barreto Arias, professors of the Division of Life Sciences (DICIVA) of Campus Irapuato-Salamanca, received their certification through the National Commission of Certification of Nursing and the Nurse School of Irapuato A.C., presided by Margarita Magdaleno Luna.
In this process, 37 active nurses from different cities in the state received their certification in bachelor's degree, a nurse certified in the technical level and two college professors in the category of teaching.
Both professors expressed their commitment with the University of Guanajuato, since this personal achievement also contribute to the quality indicators of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery.
The collegiate nurses must update continuously and to prove it, they present an exam that has approximately 200 questions, which besides passing the exam, they complement with documentary evidence of the qualitative improvement of their professional development.
This way, they provide to the patients, their families and the community more certainty that the members of the Nurse School invest time and work in continuous improvement.
This certification is an encouragement for this guild of professionals and it is a pride for those who approved the process, because the update in nursing is fundamental for the development of their functions, mentioned the LEO Margarita Magdaleno, President of the School.
Berenice Márquez Maldonado, the organism's treasurer, recognized the noble labor done by the nursing personnel, to who she exhorted to set new goals for their permanent improvement.
The certification ceremony was held in the facilities of the Center of Continuous Education of Irapuato, where professionals throughout Guanajuato gathered to receive the quality certificates signed by Dr. Norma Alicia Riego Azuara, President of the Mexican Federation of Nursing Schools A.C., and by the MCE. Ma. Rafaela Lazcano Pérez, General Coordinator of the National Certifying Commission of Nursing Schools.
