Guanajuato, Gto., January 30, 2018.- Six educational programs of the University of Guanajuato entered the EGEL Census of High Academic Performance Programs.
This census is composed by the programs of the Higher Education Institutions that register a high proportion of their graduates with satisfactory or outstanding results in the General Exam for bachelor's Graduates (EGEL for its acronym in Spanish).
It is worthy to mention that Campus Celaya-Salvatierra registered one of their programs in the EGEL Census of High Academic Performance Programs, this case corresponds to the program Nutrition of the Division of Health Sciences and Engineering.
Campus Irapuato-Salamanca registered four of their programs: Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electric Engineering and Computing Systems Engineering of the Division of Engineering. Regarding Campus Guanajuato, they incorporated the educational program of Law of the Division of Law, Politics and Government.
The mentioned educational programs fulfilled the criteria to reach the academic performance levels, as well as continuous improvement in the learning levels of the graduates.
It is worthy to mention that, incorporating a program to the EGEL Census depends exclusively from the results obtained from their graduates, which allows the Higher Education institutions to value the efficiency of their institutional programs, in the ways to increase the learning levels of their students.
In the state level, Guanajuato incorporated 14 programs to the census, from which, six correspond to the University of Guanajuato. The latter's participation of programs incorporated in the census, in the state, it corresponds to a 42.86% of participation.
The results obtained from the six educational programs reinforce the university's mission based on the freedom of speech, free research, social commitment and promotion of the critic, plural, creative and participative spirit.
Attached to those, is the principle of quality that reflects in all the activities the institution does, through their services and the efficiency of their processes, in a context of evaluation and continuous improvement.
