Guanajuato, Gto., February 6, 2018.- A group of four students of High School Guanajuato developed a videogame that is also a didactic tool, since the users learn biology.

The idea came from the common interest of Jesús Alejandro Barbosa Colunga, Daniel Hassan Razo Mora, José Eduardo Eufracio Torres and Sebastián Torres Rodríguez, students of the fourth semester who created Edsehal Studios.

In the videogame created by students of the University of Guanajuato, the user is a soldier who survives a catastrophe caused by a scientist, which led to the extinction of life as we know it. Only microorganisms survive, and throughout the game, the different possibilities that can occur in biology are shown, this allows the user to learn the science in a funnier form, says Alejandro Barbosa.

It is a typical videogame, in which the complexity rises as you advance, he adds.

In the opinion of these students, there are some who are indifferent in class because the information is not presented attractively; "But if people are shown something they like, they can learn better."

HS Guanajuato's students have worked in this project for around six months, and they almost have a full version of the game; although they continue improving it, so it is more attractive for the players.

With this videogame, the members of Edsehal Studios obtained the first place in the category of Technological Innovation in a Pupas Developers summon, an organized group of college students who supports projects from high school's students of UG.

This is how they obtained economic support and had the advisory of Rodolfo Ferro and Ricardo Mirón, two UG students who have shined nationally in technological innovation contests.

With Pupas backing, this didactic videogame could reach many students, and so fulfill the purpose of his creators.
