Guanajuato, Gto., February 21, 2018.- There is still time to enroll in to the master's degree in administration which is taught at the Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences (DCEA) of UG's Guanajuato Campus, since they stop enrolling on March 9.

Dr. Agustín Ruíz Lanuza, the coordinator of the master's in administration, referred that these academic programs have the objective to form people with an analytical and innovative perspective in administration; to be leaders in diagnosing problems and in the design and implementation of competitive solutions for national and international organizations and their environment.

In an interview he remarked that in the Bajio's industrial corridor there's a wide field of work for the graduates, who finish with a comprehensive formation with a professional and ethic focus.

He reminded that this master's degree has been taught for almost 42 years and has been renowned by the census of the National Program of Quality Postgraduates (PNPC) of Conacyt, which from the beginning, widens the possibilities for the applicants.

He pointed that the graduation of the students is based in the analysis of the social needs, the job market, the progress of knowledge, the offer of prestige similar programs and the pedagogic didactic principles which are present in UG's educative model; and it is conceived as a profile of specific competencies that go in the innovation of administrative planning processes.

The graduates, he affirmed, must be assertive while making decisions, considering the available resources, the risks and local reality.

"They're expected to assure a competitive advantage in a sustainable way in the organizations, strategically managing them, act with a consciousness who answers to the ethic values of social responsibility, respect for the diversity and multiculturality, optimize the administrative process using technologies and information systems for an efficient administration", he said.

They must be also capable of detecting business opportunities and entrepreneurship, using the technologic information tools, to be capable to learn and recreate the new administrative trends and adapt the style of leadership according the work team, negotiating and solving conflicts.

Dr. Ruiz pointed out that for this period, the modality offered is part time, meaning, with classes on Saturdays since May 19th until August 11th.

He reminded that the issue of admission slips for the admission exam is open since February 12 and closes on March 9; he recommended whoever is interested to visit the website of the University of Guanajuato in the enrollment section, they can even find test simulators on there.

As for the English language, he mentioned that the study plan requires six levels, which they can course during their program or present a position exam. The program lasts two years (six quarters) if you have three subjects, in a flexible plan with no pre-requirements of subjects, so they can select the subject that is open at the time.
