Celaya, Gto., March 6, 2018.- The program for the degree in Regional Development, taught at the venue Salvatierra of the University of Guanajuato, received from the Council of Accreditation in Administrative, Accounting and Related Sciences (CACECA for its acronym in Spanish), the certificate as a Quality Program.
The certificate was received by Dr. Graciela Ma. de la Luz Ruiz Aguilar, Rector of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, who next to Dr. Benito Rodríguez Haros, Director of the Division of Social and Administrative Sciences (DCSA), to which the Regional Development belongs to; attended the event.
The certification of this program from an organism as CACECA which is backed by the National Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt) to carry out the evaluation and certification, represents an accomplishment for the directors, academic coordinators, professors and students at DCSA of this campus.
To do so, it was necessary to work in the design and administration of the program, which considers proposing strategies to teach themed contents, create collaboration, research projects and generate knowledge, as well as the realization of actions and tasks for the comprehensive formation of the future professionals in this discipline.
CACECA's methodology of evaluation is based in these and other financial and infrastructure indicators, same that must be according and sufficient to the objectives chased by the program.
The certification guarantees the quality of the graduates of the degree in Regional Development, the quality of the educative program, the quality of the professors and the quality of the Institution, which through this mechanism, positions its prestige in a local, regional and national level.
A necessary condition for free professional transit is, precisely, the certification of educative programs. This answers the social demand that seeks to assure the quality in the professional exercise of those who graduate from a higher education institution.
