Guanajuato, Gto., April 4, 2018.- With the purpose to develop projects and transdisciplinary comprehensive programs that contribute to the solution of social problems and address the demands of the government and productive sector, the University of Guanajuato (UG) developed the "Ecosystem of Liaison, Innovation, Development & Application of Knowledge of the University of Guanajuato (VIDA UG)".

VIDA UG was conceived to propitiate the generation and transference of knowledge through specific products adjusted to the requirements of the environment; gathering efforts from all the university community and entities associated with the state in a national and international level.

With this, they seek to contribute to the design of projects and transdisciplinary comprehensive programs with a social impact; support in the generation of public policies; spread science and technology, as well as in innovation and technological development.

The project has the institutional support of professors, students and research organisms, as well as national and international academic networks dedicated to the application of knowledge in the social environment.

Some of the services that this ecosystem will offer are, Applied research: Inside –in the business or social instance—;Technological Development: prototypes, piloting, initial operation implementations, training about operation; services of social, technological, financial or governmental innovation; entrepreneur and expediting of businesses and companies, start up tutoring, development and expediting of businesses and companies; Continuous education: basic and specialized; Certification of work skills, among others.

VIDA UG is founded on the university social responsibility and its bases is the articulation of the substantial functions of the University.

This initiative is set in motion with the installed capacity the university already has, boosting it.

This ecosystem will allow to detonate projects in which strategic actors for the state's development are involved –government, businesses and educational institutions—.

With this, UG sets to become a permanent source of regional development to contribute the improvement of the quality of life of the society to which it owes to.
