Guanajuato, Gto., April 12, 2018.- Students and professors of the Interdisciplinary Center of Northeast of the University of Guanajuato (CINUG) approach to communities of Tierra Blanca to implement and share their knowledge in mater of health, culture, promotion of traditions, production of food, environment and renewable energies.
All this under the learning strategy based on challenges of "Project Sefi", which is propitiated in an environment that, in a collaborative manner, they deepen the knowledge of the disciplinary area in which they are immerse by applying what they know in a real context.
This will promote the learning of transversal aspects, the practical formation and the re-elaboration of theoretical contents, which will have an impact in the academic and economic development of the population near to CINUG.
The first stage of the project consists on diagnosing the communities, done so by a group of 40 students of the degrees in Social Work and Territory Development & Managements of the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities of Campus León, coordinated by Dr. Maricruz Romero Ugalde and Dr. Luis Humberto Carlín Vargas, scholars from the same division.
This group creates a diagnosis in the mentioned areas, initially in the community of the Cieneguilla, where the project will develop, with the purpose to sustain the methodology and learning strategies that will be set in practice during the work week from May 6-12, 2018.
Worthy to mention that the groups of students will develop intervention actions with the advice and orientation from professors of the corresponding area in pro of the Cieneguilla's population. At the end of such activities during the work week there will be an evaluation stage where feedback will be encouraged from the activities held the work week at CINUG.
Before beginning the tour and approach to the community, administrative personnel, teachers and delegates of Fracción del Cano and Peña Blanca Dos, gathered to talk about the details of to the beginning of the "Project Sefi".
