As an example, on Friday 13, the venue Forum of Campus León, received a crowd of children with the purpose to bring them closer to the world of science through workshops and the play "El mundo de Alicia". On the matter, Dr. Isabel Delgadillo, a professor-researcher of the Division of Sciences and Engineering of Campus León, mentioned that "it is important for people to see that science is not fearful thing neither easy, you must observer, experiment and there is a scientific commitment in people."

On the other end, at the citizen plaza Griselda Álvarez, nutrition students and health professionals coordinated by Dr. Rebeca Monroy Torres, a professor-researcher at the Department of Medicine and Nutrition, gathered and announced to 62 people about the food groups, the balanced plate, plus indicating the correct form to read a nutritional table on the products, so they can moderate the consumption of sugar and have a proper nourishment.

Dr. Rebeca Monroy offered the talk "Myths and realities regarding the benefits of the food offered by the media" where she mentioned there is a "large amount of miracle products offered and they are a health risk, so, it is important to identify them, plus, they don't have scientific evidence and therefore the consumer must be informed to make their own decisions."

Continuing with the health prevention activities, at Plaza Fundadores, they measured sugar levels, muscle mass, weight and size, blood pressure, and gave practical advice to prevent diabetes.

The attention was overseen by students of the educational program of Sciences of the Physical Activity and Health with people who are already taking the Diploma in Therapeutic Education in Diabetes, a program taught in the same campus, led by Dr. Sergio Márquez Gamiño, researcher of the Department of Applied Sciences to Labor.

Within this plaza, which is located in downtown León, were present other student projects from UG such as the Teddy bear Hospital and Tías Pelucas, initiatives that promote health in the public; the first one is for kids so they know how a hospital works and lose the fear they've got for the "white-coat" professionals using a stuffed animal.

Tías Pelucas was visited by people who are interested in the prevention of cancer, as well as economic donations and some hair donations to create oncological wigs which will be delivered to the patients in the hospitals in the city by students of the Division of Health Sciences.

Another venue that had the participation of UG's community was the Museum of Art and History of Guanajuato, place where the panel "Culture, Music and Popular Art" was given, the latter gathered specialists in the subject such as Dr. Vanesa Freitag and Dr. Natalia Bieletto, both professors-researchers of the Department of Cultural Studies, as well as Dr. Miguel Santos Salinas from ENES-UNAM.

Dr. Freitag gave information about the creative process of artisans-artists of Guanajuato and mentioned the importance of revaluing and the view there must be about handcrafts and their artisans.

On the other hand, the documentary "Los músico callejeros de León Guanajuato" was screened; this is a product of the work of Dr. Natalia Bieletto, where she presented the social cohesion formed with music and musicians in public spaces.

Likewise, Dr. Miguel Santos Salinas addressed details about his research "Popular Culture in Northern Guanajuato" where he mentioned some expressions of the popular culture in this geographic zone.

The participation of UG's Campus León was the result of the work and summon of the liaison area coordinated by Lic.
