
Guanajuato, Gto., 24 de abril de 2018.- The master's degree in organizational development offered at the Guanajuato Campus is the first postgraduate course that displays a multimodal format at the University of Guanajuato (UG), since it will allow its students to participate in face-to-face, semi-presential modalities and in Line within the same program.
M. Juan Iván Vázquez García, coordinator of the Master in Organizational Development of the Division of Economic and Administrative Sciences (DCEA), explained that, with the evolution of classrooms to virtual classes, it seeks to capture more students who are going to this educational program.
"One of the projects of this postgraduate program is to start working with the students and with some learning units in a virtual way, the idea is that the students turn to see this educational program with greater options of taking this training of Postgraduate, "he added.
In this way, he said, one of the priorities of the Director of the Division of Economic Administrative Sciences, Dr. Claudia Susana Gómez López, "is that the offer is extended in this network of learning units, where the applicants see the program and have options to have some classrooms and some other virtual ones. "
He said that the first class or unit of learning, as it is called inside, which is imparted in a virtual way is "Consultancy and Diagnosis" corresponding to the 3rd quarter; to achieve this, he added, is supported by the Department of Distance Education.
"We are taking the subject "Consultancy and Diagnosis" as a referent to pick up the benefits the teaching has through the virtual platforms and the idea is to slowly visualize what other subjects we can take to the digital ambiance", she mentioned.
Vázquez García mentioned that, with this work, they fulfill one of the points established in the Educational Model of the University of Guanajuato, "which seeks that the educational programs go towards that part of the virtualization, where the students gets more involved in using information technologies to optimize resources."
