Guanajuato, Gto., May 2, 2018.- In the National Book Fair of León (FeNAL), Dr. Luis Felipe El-Sahili a professor at the HS León, presented his most recent book titled "Research about the harassment student-professor" published by "Pr-ediciones" of Madrid, Spain, and it is for sale all over the world through amazon.
The topic raised interest because it is rarely seen in a book presentation; so, it flooded the Efrén Hernández Hall –with a 200 people capacity—and there were more than 260. Three renowned commentators of the topic were present, two of them also collaborated with the book: Dr. Roberto Rodríguez and Dr. Marco Di Giardino.
The official presenter was Dr. Arturo Reyna, Director of Distance Education of the Universidad Cuauhtémoc of Aguascalientes. During their intervention, Dr. Reyna highlighted Dr. El-Sahili's trajectory and mentioned that the chapters of the book can be taken as an example to make a thesis, because of its research organization.
With the book, a questionnaire with 32 items was created, each one validated by experts and by Cronbach alpha (that allows to measure the feasibility of a measured scale). The scale was applied in four states thanks to the collaboration of different universities, such as Tamaulipas, Guadalajara, Querétaro and Guanajuato.
In several chapters of the book we can see a growing interest for the topic, which concludes with the increase of the harassment to the professor (due to the use of cellphones or tablets), so the authority role is low, because most times students trust more in the electronic media than the professor.
Dr. Reyna ended recommending the book for professors and parents, with the purpose to settle the respect for the professor. At the end, Dr. El-Sahili and collaborators thanked for the space and the participation of the audience.
It is worthy to mention that this is the seventh uninterrupted participation of Dr. El-Sahili in the FeNAL; he has presented several books, some published by the University of Guanajuato and the High School College.
