Guanajuato, Gto., May 28, 2018.- Dr. Alfonso Pérez Sánchez, Coordinator of the Cloister of Musicology and the Master's in Arts of the University of Guanajuato (UG), revealed that the VII Internal Colloquium of Exposition of Thesis Progress 2018 will be held in two dates.
He explained that the Division of Architecture, Art and Design (DAAD) of UG's Campus Guanajuato, through the postgraduate in arts in collaboration with the University Center of Art, Architecture and Design of the University of Guadalajara, summon students from master's and doctorate in Arts to participate in the mentioned internal colloquium.
He mentioned that, this colloquium is projected to be held from May 30th to June 2nd in the auditorium "Víctor Manuel Villegas" of the venue Belén of Campus Guanajuato. They seek to encourage the diffusion of other research work from master's and doctorate in arts, in an adequate forum to promote the reflection, exchange and academic dialogue.
In the same, the participants will be able to present their research progress, as well as knowing the topics addressed by their peers, besides receiving feedback from professors who are members of the main academic core of the postgraduate in arts.
During the colloquium, there will be an opening master conference and other talks organized in thirteen work tables, plus a conference by a postgrad graduate.
They will also have the pre-defense of thesis from an outstanding student, editorial presentations from postgrad professors in arts, a table of discussion among postgrad students in arts from UG and master's in arts students from Guadalajara, regarding the question "what it means to be a student in a postgraduate in arts?"
To finish the colloquium activities, they foresee a comments table from professors about the theses presented and master conference to close the event by a guest professor invited by the DAAD.
The attendance of the activities if free and open to all university community, but everyone who interested in arts and public in general are also welcome.
