Guanajuato, Gto., May 24, 2018.- The "Talentum Universidad" program recognized the leadership and important work of diffusion of Dasaev Muñoz González, a student of the degree in International Relationships of the University of Guanajuato (UG), who received the first TU Ambassador award, from within sixty contenders in the country.

"Talentum Univesidad" has the purpose to identify and encourage the development of young talented Mexicans and the formation of a new generation of leaders based exclusively in merit and effort.

Dasaev Muñoz participated in the third edition of the program, where they made different projects focused to address several problems in the country. His project was about citizen participation, specifically in social entrepreneurship.

Afterwards, he participated in a challenge to reach the highest number of applicants and elaborate the best communication proposal. So, Dasaev obtained the award that recognizes him as a leader, for his capability to recognize the potential of others and encourage them to develop to the maximum.

As an award, he will accompany the fourth generation of Talentum participants to the international trip, which this time will be to Israel. There, they'll work in "Solutions for a more just, prosper and inclusive Mexico", with proposals to address from different perspectives problems such as corruption, security, water shortage, among others.

Before his trip to Israel, the student of the degree in Industrial Relationships of the Division of Economic Administrative Sciences (DCEA) will make a research stay in two universities in Canada.

Dasaev Muñoz works in developing a health project to prevent degenerative chronic diseases. His objective is to avoid the complications that usually come with diabetes, a disease that affects 400 million people in the world and has an annual cost of more than three million dollars.

For that, he will collaborate with a mathematician from York University, and in the University of Toronto with Alejandro Jadad, M.D., considered by Time magazine as one of the 100 geniuses that will transform the world.

On the matter, Dasaev mentioned that Alejandro Jadad encouraged him to get involved in the topic, and suggested to study the health factors, instead of the critical factors of the disease. "There are people who have two or three diseases and you ask them how you do feel, and they say: fine. What makes that person feel "fine" despite all the illnesses? Alejandro Jadad has these ideas that break schemes ", explain the UG student.

At the end of the research stay, Dasaev will be a few days in Mexico and then will return to Canada, he is also one of the selected 20 –out of 200 participants—of the Leaders summon in Canada, which is promoted by the state government through Educafin.

This way, for two months he will have the opportunity to strengthen his skills, attend an English course, another about a leadership, and be a volunteer.

He explains that it is worth it to participate in all the summons possible, because the time and effort invested have their reward, since "the learning you get have impact on your life".
