At the event was present the President of the University of Guanajuato, Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino, who expressed his acknowledgement to Dr. Rendón Huerta Barrera for this research work. At UG, he mentioned, we must generate new knowledge and make it available for who will apply it.

With multiple examples, Dr. Guerrero made the importance of the concept of reasonability evident in the legal ambience and emphasized his role in the strengthening of the democratic state of law.

The work highlights that reasonability is not only attached to a specialty, but extends to all the fields of Law, "it is the problematic condition of the speech and the exercise of Law in their totality", mentioned the prologue of the text, written by the Director of the Department of Philosophy, Dr. Rodolfo Cortés del Moral.

In his comments, he highlighted that in the case of Law, the problem of rationality is not only theoretic, is practical, "human", because it has consequences for the life of people or even communities, hence the merit of someone working in this topic.

He also highlighted that the text written by Dr. Rendón Huerta Barrera allows the open and interdisciplinary reflection, and mention the overwhelming bibliography consulted by the author.

When explaining the reason of this book, Dr. Teresita de Jesús Rendón Huerta Barrera, referred to the reasonability notion as a constitutional limit to the power of the State, and emphasized that this concept in Law deepens the decision of authority, accrediting that they are not products of mere subjective appreciations.

This book has the objective to search and create paths against arbitrariness, abuse and authoritarianism, under the premise that the imperative of the reasonable legal decision must be a demand from the constitutional and democratic State of Law.

At the ceremony, the Rector of Campus Guanajuato thanked the commentators of the work, as well as university authorities, to who accompanied during the research and presentation of the book.

"The book is a boast of knowledge", that quotes 172 books and 21 constitutions, mentioned the Director of the Institute of Legal Research of the Faculty of Law of the Universidad Anáhuac, Dr. José Antonio Núñez Ochoa, who considered that this should be a main text for judges, legislators and the political class.

At the event was also present, the Director of the Department of Law, Dr. Leandro Eduardo Astrain Bañuelos, who was the moderator. Likewise, the Rector of Campus Guanajuato was accompanied by directors of the university, academic and student community, as well as juries and public in general.
