el-cinug-se-vincula-con-la-ninez-en-la-iv-feria-de-ciencia-ug-ugtoTierra Blanca, Gto., June 7, 2018.- The Northeastern Interdisciplinary Center of the University of Guanajuato (CINUG) received more than 300 children and teenagers from different communities of Tierra Blanca, who participated in the IV Science Fair.

Children from different elementary schools at Tierra Blanca attended the university venue such as Niños Héroes, Miguel Hidalgo & Héroes de la Independencia, as well as the Secundaria Técnica No. 23.

In the event, whose purpose was to stimulate scientific vocations, 68 students participated in the programs of nursing and obstetrics, environmental engineering, agronomic Engineering and Food Engineering, interested in generating and sharing knowledge with the social environment.

The teachers Ericka Urbiola Rangel, Alexandra Blas Alvarado, Andrea Josefina Rico Domínguez and Professor Erik Díaz Cervantes had this initiative to strengthen professional academic training as well.

The IV science Fair offered the opportunity for children and young people to internalize in the methods of science, stimulating their creativity through games and projects that enrich the dynamics of research.

With this activity, the Northeast Interdisciplinary Center strengthens the link between the university and the community, and confirms its commitment to the society to share the knowledge generated by the academic and student community, to sow in the children the Interest in science.
