Celaya, Gto., June 18, 2018.- A total of 39 students from different universities of the countries arrived in Campus Celaya-Salvatierra, attracted by the offer of research done in this University Campus.

In the 24th edition of the Scientific Research Summers with the University of Guanajuato (UG), more than 700 students from the other four campuses of UG, from several educational institutions of the country and the world enrolled in four modalities, allows to promote among the students the taste for the scientific activity in any of their disciplines.

The students worked together with full-time professors; active researchers of the University of Guanajuato ascribed to the National System of Researchers, who will work as advisors, so they can reach each research's purposes, achieving a mutual enrichment.

For seven weeks, they'll seek, plus, encourage among the students the taste for the scientific activity, for that it is possible to participate in a real project in the discipline of their preference, where they make documentary and field research activities.

The researchers welcomed to the Campus the students from universities of de Colombia, Guatemala, Guerrero, Chiapas, Guadalajara, Michoacán, Tamaulipas, Nayarit, Sonora, Coahuila and the own University of Guanajuato (UG).

Daniel Balaguera Melo, a professor of the Universidad of Santo Tomás de Bogotá, Colombia and candidate to obtain the Ph.D. in Administration by the Faculty of Administration of Businesses in Accounting Sciences and Basic Sciences, will work in the project with Dr. Eva Lozano Montero, from UG, which consists in the intervention to design a system of administrative, structural and financial improvement in two enterprises in the region, a project in which also students and professionals from other disciplines participate in.

Daniel Balaguera is enrolled in the modality of Liaison Summers and in relation to the participation in this project he mentioned that "he thinks the research projects are very interesting, because I consider that in current education there has been a lack of support in all degrees; research leads us to have updates, innovations, creativity and competitivity in all fields."

UG has been organizing the Research Summers for 24 years, with the purpose of promoting and awakening the vocation for scientific research; at the end of the summer, researchers and students present in the Institutional Congress the progress and this multidisciplinary work.
