Celaya, Gto., June 19, 2018.- The integration of the intercultural and international perspective in the academic functions, of generation and expansion of knowledge is a fundamental part of the model of the University of Guanajuato (UG), with this purpose they gave institutional support to favor the mobility of 44 professors and students of Campus Celaya-Salvatierra.

This way, they'll be in universities abroad and other regions of the country sharing the work done in the Campus. The participation of outstanding professors and students is fundamental to promote the coordinated cooperation among institutions, strengthen the educational and cultural bonds and promote the scientific and technological development, mentioned Dr. María Lourdes Tiburcio Sánchez, in charge of the Campus' Planning Unit.

She mentioned that the group will focus in the realization of different activities, as speakers in international congresses, in the presentation of their work and literary products, research stays, among other events that are oriented to reach the institutional goals, conditioned to have an impact in the substantial functions of the university and respect the guidelines of the budget and transparency discipline.

The grants for the professors and students will promote the student mobility outside the university with the support of agreements of interinstitutional cooperation, in a way that strengths the quality of the education offered in this community, she added.

Those who got the financial support met with the administrative personnel, who told them the requirements they must fulfill to use the resources and obtain the academic evidences.

The goal is to widen and diversify in the university community the opportunities for them to acquire new learning and strengthen their development and formation, highlighted Dr. Lourdes Tiburcio, who mentioned that they seek each time more students who receive these supports and for that they want to optimize the existent resources and even increase them.
