Guanajuato, Gto., June 20, 2018.- Professors of the Division of Natural and Exact Sciences (DCNE) of Campus Guanajuato, presented progress in research focused on the application of computing tools in the 28th European Symposium on Computer Aided Process Engineering 2018, held in Graz, Austria.

The doctors, Juan Gabriel Segovia Hernández, Ricardo Morales Rodríguez and Fernando Israel Gómez Castro, are professors of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the DCNE.

Likewise, César Ramirez Márquez, who has a master's in chemical engineering (M.I.Q.), is a student in the Doctorate in Sciences in Chemical Engineering, who participated in one of the most important world congresses in the subject of Processes Engineering, soaring the name of the University of Guanajuato (UG).

In this encounter, the professor and the students from UG showed their progress of their research, which is oriented to the application of computing tools in the design of low cost processes of production, as well as sustainable, mainly for the whole use of biomass. Also, they had the opportunity to know first hand the breakthroughs in the area.

It is worthy to mention that this congress is one of the most important in the world in Processes Engineering, in which professors and students from other institutions from countries such as Europe, India, Japan, China, Argentina and among others participate in.
