Guanajuato, Gto., June 21, 2018.- The Professor María del Carmen Rodríguez Róbelo of the High School Guanajuato participated as an evaluator of national and international projects in the VIII edition of the VIII Congress Code Science Jalisco 2018.
At the event, which was held in Guadalajara, organized by the Latin American Society of Science and Technology (SOLACYT); 141 works were submitted to different categories, the projects the professor evaluated were in Environment, Divulgation of Science and all the categories of elementary school.
"I believe that this type of experiences is valuable since this event has several years going on in the state of Jalisco, so knowing the logistics, planning and development, will allow itself to grow at some point, with the adequate modifications to our context, implement improvements in the science contests made by the University of Guanajuato and specially the High School College to favor the scientific vocations", mentioned M. Rodríguez Róbelo.
Also, she mentioned she had the opportunity to spend some time with students from public and private institutions from Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Argentina and Chile, who received the accreditation to know Mexico in their local fairs which for them is a great award.
It is important to mention that the evaluations are made with a minimum of three evaluators and four to five in case there is a tie in projects that, for their high score, receive the accreditation for international events.
This contest gives honorific mentions, bronze, silver, gold and platinum medals, and the winning projects can participate in the National Expo-Science and in Infomatrix Latin America, where in previous years, they had had participation from the high schools of the University of Guanajuato.
