"

As part of the project, the students attended this company to diagnose their strengths in aspects of social responsibility, in relation to the actions of social, economic and environmental improvement that they carry out.

Social responsibility is a task that companies have and that goes beyond voluntary actions to support certain social sectors; It has to do with complying with a set of principles and standards established by the Secretariat of economy to ensure that the operations of companies contribute to sustainable human development and strengthen the trust between company and society, mentioned the Dr. Martha Ríos Manríquez, teacher of the UG and advisor of the students in this project.

Aware that the tools they acquire in their training studies can be used to help improve the performance of industry and commerce in the region, the students were linked to the company, where after the initial diagnosis They were able to develop a plan of action to implement in an organized, planned and clear objectives, their actions of social responsibility for their own benefit and the environment in which they act.

In the same way and with the same purpose, the students María Guadalupe Pérez Zavala and Santos Victoria Angélica, worked two months in the factory of Cajetas "La Tradicional". At the end of that period, the executives were given an executive report and final proposal with the type of actions they could implement to comply with the social responsibility guidelines.
