Salamanca, Gto., August 24, 2018.- The quality of the educational programs of the Campus Irapuato-Salamanca of the University of Guanajuato (UG) attracts national and foreign students to make an academic stay in the educational program of their choice.
Dr. Armando Gallegos Muñoz, Rector of the Irapuato – Salamanca Campus, welcomed mobility students, who during the August – December 2018 semester were enrolled in the Division of Engineering or the Division of Life Sciences.
Antoine Forgues, Thibaud Puertolas and Nicolas Volant, from the Ecole D'ingénieurs Généralistes Engineering School (EIGSI), in France, were accepted in the program of electrical engineering that is imparted in the Salamanca venue.
It should be mentioned that, thanks to a bilateral agreement, the Division of Engineering receives half-yearly from one to three students of the EIGSI to study mechanical engineering, communications and electronics or mechatronics.
In addition to their subjects, the Division of Engineering offers a Spanish course to improve their preparation during their stay.
By national mobility and through an agreement with the National Association of Universities and Institutions of Higher Education (ANUIES), Tania Maribel Luna of the University of Guadalajara, was enrolled in the Communications and Electronics program, which also is taught at the engineering division.
In the same way, through the agreement with the ANUIES, Ángel Alejandro Moreno, student of the Autonomous Agrarian University Antonio Narro, enrolled in the Environmental Engineering Program of the Division of Life Sciences.
The student chose the Irapuato headquarters on the recommendation of his professors, who told him about the work that is done in the Division of Life Sciences in the agricultural, environmental and health areas.
On a regular basis, students at the university choose to stay in agronomy and agricultural mechanics programs, since both universities have a great affinity in their programs oriented to the agricultural sector.
With national and international mobility, students who live this experience complement their training by knowing contexts and cultures different from their everyday environment to develop a global vision.
