Guanajuato, Gto., September 4, 2018.- Within the activities of the 60 Book Fair of the University of Guanajuato, begins the fourth cycle of "Escritores jóvenes visitan Cuévano"

On the initiative of Dr. Elba Margarita Sánchez Rolón, the cycle will take place from September 4 to 6, 2018, which aims to gather young literary voices in Mexico and has in its programming the recent manifestations of the cultural panorama.

In the past cycles, the longest-lived book fair in Mexico has brought together at least 40 voices of literature in the country. They have hosted writers from Aguascalientes, Mexico City, Colima, state of Mexico, Jalisco, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Michoacán, Morelos, Nuevo León, Nayarit, Puebla, Sinaloa, Sonora and Veracruz; poets, playwrights, storytellers, essayists who have been consolidating their trajectory.

The writers who over the course of four years have participated in the cycle are creators to whom students from the University of Guanajuato and the general public have known, read and heard thanks to the book fair. It should be mentioned that those who have come to read and to dialogue, to talk about their publishing news and creative processes, are now writers in consolidation in the editorial, literary, artistic and cultural fields.

The writer and graduate of the University of Guanajuato, Luis Felipe Perez Sánchez organizer of the "Ciclo de Escritores jóvenes visitan Cuévano" mentioned that "the concept of the University Book Fair has little less commercial aspirations and more training so That tends to give value to projects like this and is where it finds suitable space for the promotion and dissemination of the reading and the creation, of the formation of public readers and promoters ".

Since its first broadcast in 2015 the cycle sought to articulate a cultural corridor in such a way that the public considers it as an important part of UG's book Fair; where young writers are also given the opportunity to show themselves, in such a way that they obtain what a writer seeks, that is to say, the opportunity to win readers.

In this cycle, the writers that will participate are: Roberto Amézquita, Jaime He, Laura Sofía Rivero, Fernando Jiménez, Sara P. Mateos, César Tejeda y Robin Myers.
