The event organized by the INADEM will be attended students and advisors who participated in the 13th Creativity and Innovation contest.
Guanajuato, Gto., Septiembre 6, 2018.- A group of approximately 90 students and members of the academic staff make up the delegation that will represent the University of Guanajuato (UG) in the National Entrepreneur Week, considered the most important national event in this area.
During the symbolic flag of those who will participate in the event organized by the Department of Economy through the National Institute of Entrepreneur (INADEM), the President of the University of Guanajuato (UG), Dr. Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino He congratulated the selected and those who urged them to think about the impact of their work and the kind of society they want.
In this way, he stressed that the University of Guanajuato has the responsibility of influencing the integral formation, because the knowledge is not enough for the person to transcend. He referred to the characteristics of the new generations, and to the qualities and aptitudes that distinguish them, such as entrepreneurial spirit and ecological awareness, and considered that the world needs an intergenerational collaboration, in which the university must be an example.
Previously, the General coordinator of the Ecosystem VIDA UG, Dr. Jesús Martínez Patiño, said that the delegation of the UG was formed with students and advisors who participated in the 13 Creativity and Innovation contest of the UG, the four university campuses and the high school college.
In this edition, he detailed, 147 projects were recorded, so this contest constitutes a reflection of the university talent. He also recalled that VIDA UG ecosystem emerged precisely to shelter such initiatives from the university community and to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship.
At the ceremony the student Noé Andrés Pérez Ayala offered a message, winner of the first place in the new products business category, who spoke about the importance of the values in the development of the projects, because – he said "the entrepreneur and innovator is also a social fighter. " In this sense, he thanked the university for the opportunities it offers to its community and stated that UG represents a standard of social commitment.
The National Entrepreneur Week will take place from September 10 to 14 and is expected to have approximately 110,000 attendees. The objective of the event is to provide tools and solutions necessary to start your business or consolidate your company, through workshops and training activities.
